Ian Crone brings more than 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry to the role of Business Unit Director for Europe at fme Life Sciences. Ian’s background is in chemical engineering which is the subject of both his university degree at Strathclyde University in Scotland and the first fourteen years of his career at Unilever. Over the two decades since, Ian has been involved in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, from every angle of drug development and for some of the largest Life Sciences companies. He has gathered experiences both from an industry and the technology/services supply side, in roles held at Oxford Instruments, BioStorage Technologies and Samarind.
David Gwyn is a strategic, creative, and data-driven Business Development and Technology Specialist with extensive expertise in building key partnerships, implementing business strategies, and deploying solutions across the life science and emerging technology industries. David joined as the Business Unit Director for Business Consulting at fme Life Sciences in North America. For the past 30 years, David has led teams in the delivery of content management, clinical, and quality solutions with a recent focus on end-to-end Regulatory Information Management (RIM). His experience has evolved in parallel to the Life Sciences industry, moving from custom-developed software solutions to packaged-based implementations, and the development of methodologies and best practices to guide practitioners in realizing the greatest return on investment.
